As part of our birthday celebrations, The Castle has assembled a fantastic 19 piece orchestra and a stream of guest singers to bring you an evening of great music.
 
Featuring well loved tunes from composers including Cole Porter, George Gershwin and Oscar Hammerstein II your favourites are sure to be included.
 
Richard Balcombe is one of the country’s leading conductors and we are delighted that he will be conducting this birthday concert for us. Richard has conducted a string of West End musicals as well as all the UK’s major orchestras. He regularly conducts Friday Night is Music Night for BBC Radio 2.

James Bisp
has performed in both regional and West End Musicals. He was in the recent London Production of Joseph as well as the tours of Beauty & The Beast and Scrooge.
Sophie-Louise Dann returns after performing in The Castle's The World Goes Round. She is a regular guest on Radio 2's Friday Night is Music Night and will be performing in Sondheim at 80 at the Royal Albert Hall this summer.
James Graeme most recently appeared in the tour of The Witches of Eastwick and has played the title role in Phantom of the Opera at Her Majesty's Theatre. He regularly sings on BBC Radio 2's Friday Night is Music Night.
Margaret Preece has sung the role of Mother Abbess in over 1000 performances of The Sound of Music both on the current UK tour and at the London Palladium. She has also sung roles for English National Opera and Opera North.
