In Person

Box Office opening hours have now changed to:

Monday - Saturday 10am - until 15 minutes after the start of the last performance, or 6pm if there is no evening show.

For Sunday performances the box office will open 1 hour prior to the event start time and close 15 minutes after it starts.

You can still book tickets online 24 hours a day.

Hirers of The Castle facilities will not be affected by these new times.

Request Tickets Online

You can request tickets online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for forthcoming shows and events. Simply go to the Diary of Events page and click on the More Information/Book Now icon and follow the simple steps. Online requests will be processed by the box office staff during normal box office hours. Payment will only be taken at that point.

All tickets booked online will be held at The Castle Box Office for collection. A booking fee of £1.50 is levied on all online bookings for shows and films.

Ticket Terms & Conditions

In common with normal theatre practice, we regret that tickets cannot normally be exchanged after purchase, except where an event is cancelled. If an exception is made there is a charge of 50p per ticket. We can accept your tickets for resale on the understanding that The Castle's own unsold tickets will always take priority. A charge of £1 per ticket (to a maximum of £5) will be charged for tickets resold on your behalf.

A booking fee of £1.50 is levied on all bookings made for the shows and films, except for those made in person, with cash, at the box office. This therefore includes bookings made with direct debit and credit cards, whether in person, on the telephone, or online. The booking fee is not levied on classes and is one fee per booking, not one fee per item.

Reservations are only held for three days (or 24 hours before the start of the show if that is sooner) pending full payment. Tickets can be posted for a small fee, or collected.

To comply with fire regulations, all customers must hold a valid ticket for the event. To avoid disturbing the audience and performers, latecomers will not be admitted until a suitable break, at the discretion of the Duty Manager. No cameras or recording devices will be allowed into any performance.

The Castle Management reserve the right to refuse admission to any part of the building or site.
